You can change the username of your directadmin clients at any time.
This can be done via the Directadmin script which is located in the 'scripts' folder:
1. Enter the directadmin folder
cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
2. Execute the command to change the username
./change_username.sh olduser newuser
